April 2016 – Pacific Simulators has won the tender to provide a Flight Training Device to the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) in Australia. USQ will use the ProJet Series PS4.5 device for Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training and research purposes.
Director of Sales and Marketing for Pacific Simulators, Iain Pero said, “We are excited for yet another order from a university for our PS4.5 device, which has been designed specifically for this type of training.”
The PS4.5 is a fixed-base, fully enclosed FSTD based on a narrow-body, twin engine jet airliner. The device is due to be delivered in late 2016. The University of Southern Queensland offers a Bachelor of Aviation program with majors in Flight Operations and Aviation Management.
